By Saturday evening we had reached our campsite in Chula Vista, CA. The next morning we traveled to Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, CA. SMCC is the home church of Dr. David Jeremiah, the host of "Turning Point". We have heard Dr. Jeremiah speak on one of our previous trips to "The Cove", the Billy Graham Retreat Center near Asheville, NC.It was a special privilege to visit Dr. Jeremiah's home church and participate in a very special worshipful Sunday service. The praise singing lifted us and was a special blessing. The Choir was at least 200 members, a full string orchestra, piano and organ, with a sextet and a soloist. The Church made it especially easy for visitors to find parking and our way into the sanctuary. This was a very special way to start a Sunday morning.
