Jim and Anna Baker

We visited with Jim and Anna today. They previously lived in Galax and moved to Arizona a couple of years ago. Anna fixed a wonderful lunch of chicken rollup with a cold multi-bean salad and a fresh fruit desert. It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon catching up on old times and learning about their children and grandchildren.

That is Sharon standing with them in front of a large Saguaro Cactus in front of their condo. Jim mentioned that it takes about 50 years for the Saguaro to grow one of its large arms. This plant must have been more than 25 feet tall.

Great photos from what looks like a great adventure. But Shaon...wear a hat in that hot sun! You don't want to have a fried brain when you are on The Price Is Right!
