La Posta de Mesilla Restrauant

We missed the sunset this evening because we were having dinner in La Posta Restrauant. This building is the original La Posta. For more than a 125 years the adobe walls have withstood the attack of elements and man, has sheltered such personalities as Billy the Kid, Kit Carson and Pancho Villa. Now the small community of Mesilla sleeps but La Posta still offeres its traditional hospitality to all.

Kelvin,
Thanks for visiting. You are further away than Jozef in Slovakia who commented earlier. There are 13 Plichtas in Australia. If you find any in New Zealand please forward the blog link to them.
Thanks,
Frank
